Parties: From £250 for up to 4 hours of slot car racing during your party (for example 7–11pm in a hall).

Includes hosted racing, all equipment, setup and pack‑down, and simple medals for winners.

Corporate & events: From £500 for up to 4 hours of racing during your event.

Includes hosted tournament format, leaderboard and finals, all equipment, setup and pack‑down.

Extra time: Longer events available on request – we can quote for additional hours if you need the track for the whole evening.

Travel: Travel within a 10 mile radius of St Albans is included, then charged at 55p per mile beyond that.

Final prices depend on date, location, duration and any extras. Please fill in the booking form and we’ll confirm a quote before anything is booked.

Frequently asked questions

How do I pay?

Our preferred payment method is bank transfer to our business account before your event.

Once we confirm your booking, we’ll email you an invoice with our bank details and a unique payment reference. Please use this reference when you pay so we can automatically match your payment to your booking in our Google Sheet.

If you’d rather pay on the day, we can also take debit and credit card payments in person using Shopify.

How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking at least 4–6 weeks in advance for weekend parties and busy seasons, but we’ll always try to help with last‑minute enquiries if we have availability.

How much space do you need?

As a guide, we normally need a clear floor area of around 4m x 3m for the track plus a bit of space around the edges for racers and spectators. If you’re not sure, just tell us your venue size on the form.

What ages is it suitable for?

The track is ideal for ages 6 and up. Younger children can race with help from an adult, and we adjust the race format so teens and grown‑ups stay competitive too.

When are you available for events?

We can usually run events on Sunday and Monday at any time, and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings.

We’re not available on Tuesdays or Wednesdays. If you’re unsure whether your date works, just send it through on the form and we’ll confirm.

What is the return policy?

Our goal is for every customer to be totally satisfied with their purchase. If this isn't the case, let us know and we'll do our best to work with you to make it right.

Are any purchases final sale?

We are unable to accept returns on certain items. These will be carefully marked before purchase.

When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.

Will you record or photograph our event?

We sometimes like to take photos or short video clips of the track in action to use on our website and social media.

We will never record identifiable people at your event unless they are over 18 and have given us clear permission, either on the booking form or on the day. If someone hasn’t given permission, we’ll avoid filming or photographing them.

If you change your mind later, you can email support@slotracingcars.co.uk to ask us to delete and take down your image or video from our social media or other online channels. We aim to reply to your email within 7 days, and to remove or blur your image or video within a further 7 business days. We will always email you back to confirm once this has been completed.

When we share content, we aim to avoid clear shots of faces. If needed, we will blur faces in video (for example using Final Cut Pro) or in photos using an editing app before posting anything online.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is calculated based on your location and the items in your order. You will always know the shipping price before you purchase.
